On this Christmas Eve from The Hill at Washington, DC the Senate approves sweeping health care legislation in an historic 60-39 vote.
Republican Senator Jim Bunning of Kentucky was the only Senator who abstained from voting.
What the final picture of the health bill will be remains to be seen as details, and settling debates, now need to be reconciled with the House and Senate before President Obama can sign this legislation into law.
